Acrylic Art Workshop  (A paint and sip like no other)

Due to several requests at my Home Art Show (Sat Dec 6th) to explain and demonstrate my art techniques, I’m hosting a series of 2-hour fun, fully interactive art workshop for a small group of creative souls.  No prior experience necessary, attendees just need a curiosity to lean and a desire to fling some paint on canvas - and an apron is recommended too!.  (See below for details)

What's included

  • Minimum 2 hour session (up to 3), limited to 6 attendees maximum
  • Demonstrations of two specific abstract techniques to then try yourself during the workshop 
  • 2  Canvases each
  • All paints and pouring recipes / mediums - (Pre-mixed)
  • Two of my secret recipes used to consistently create the all-desired cells and flow results, every time.
  • Additional tools for creating specific effects
  • Wine / sodas & light snacks  
  • Time and guidance to create your own canvas creations during the workshop (using two different techniques).

What you’ll get to take home:

  • Knowledge about the preparation, creative process and techniques I use for my work (with a few secrets thrown in for good measure).
  • The 2 canvas creations you make during the workshop. 
  • A comprehensive list of supplies to save you time and money getting started.
  • Some great memories and a new group of creative friends to support your artistic endeavors. 
  • Ideas, concepts and suggestions to get started on your own creative journey.

Cost:  includes all supplies - canvas, paints, brushes, pouring media, canvas spinners, instruction, refreshments and more, (just bring your own overalls / apron so as not to get paint on your clothing.  

$120 per person.

Location:  Home Art Studio - you’ll see my process from start to finish for various techniques. And then get to create your own.  Address provided on sign-up.

Date / Time:  Two options:   Don't Wait - Spots are filling up

  • Saturday January 10th from 2-5pm or from 7-10pm
  • Saturday January 24th from 2-5pm or from 7-10pm

(And yes, you could sign up for both - I reserve the right to switch up the techniques demonstrated for best use of time / materials). 

PLEASE NOTE:   Given the intimate nature of this workshop, space is limited to give the best experience to the smallest number of attendees possible.   Sign up early to avoid disappointment.   Adults only (over 18), our venue is wheelchair accessible, and fly-in accommodations can be added into the mix, if needed.
